'Remember, remember the fifth of November…' or any day close to Guy Fawkes Night, it seems, for an opportunity to see the sky lit up with fireworks.

It is that time of year again, when we love to let off a rocket or twirl a sparkler whether it is for charity, for a celebration of our history or just for good, old-fashioned fun.

Here is a round-up of public firework displays in west London and nearby. If you know of any we have missed, please call the newsdesk on 01895 451 036.
