This summer, a special way to fundraise for Cancer Research is coming to London - a giant water slide!

The three-lane, 150m inflatable is coming to the Alexandra Palace Summer Festival on Saturday (July 25), from 11am to 6pm.

Money raised from the event will go towards Cancer Research UK's Kids and Teens fundraising campaign, helping the 220 children and teenagers who are diagnosed with cancer annually.

Head of events at Cancer Research UK, Clive Sanders, said: "We're delighted to bring our SlideRider event to London.

"We hope people across the city will embrace this exhilarating new challenge and seize the opportunity to slip, slide and support life-saving research.

"We need as many people as possible to take part and join us in the fight to find more effective and kinder treatments for children’s cancers.

"Places are limited so we're urging people to sign up now."

So get your swimwear on and head down to Alexandra Palace to have a go on this amazing slide and raise money for a good cause!

The event will be held in Alexandra Palace for Cancer Research

Participants must be 12 years old or above. Entry costs £20 per person and includes two slides.
