Known for its visionary themed afternoon teas, The Petersham Restaurant in Richmond will be serving up another tasty treat this July inspired by the most iconic British sporting event of the summer - Wimbledon.

Available for a limited time only from July 3-16, the sporting tea will include tennis-themed sweet treats, such as a ‘tie-breaker’ passionfruit curd and strawberry tart, a ‘break point’ hazelnut praline opera cake and a ‘set point’ choux bun, as well as freshly-made sandwiches and scones served with jam and clotted cream.

Served alongside the tempting treats, will be a selection of award-winning loose-leaf Novus teas including Dragonwell Green, Organic Darjeeling and Sapphire Earl Grey.

If guests want to add a little sparkle to the occasion, they can also enjoy a glass of The Petersham’s very own champagne for an additional £12.50 per glass.

With The Petersham Restaurant located a 30-minute drive away from the iconic courts of Wimbledon, guests can really make a day of it with the themed tea and a trip to Murray’s Mount or even Centre Court to watch live as the world’s elite tennis stars step out on the court.
