A new 1920s prohibition-style bar and restaurant disguised as an old pharmacy will open in Chiswick later this month.

Evans & Peel Pharmacy will launch on Wednesday August 23, five years since the opening of their infamous "Detective Agency" bar.

The hidden bar will be styled with vintage furniture, antique surgical equipment and secret draws, recreating the look of a 1920s pharmacy.

It will all be concealed by a secret entrance, where guests will have to ring a doorbell and be greeted by the legendary pharmacist; it is then their task to make their way into the secret bar.

The cocktail list at Evans & Peel Pharmacy will be a must visit with variations of the classic Old Fashioned as well as innovative pharmacy inspired creations from the in-house bar team.

From Vintage Japanese whiskies to intricate spirits, there will be plenty of unique beverages to try

The sandwiches will arrive in a cigar box with smoke seeping out of the side.

Guests can get 50% off at the Pharmacy if they visit the Evans & Peel Detective Agency and ask for the Penicillin prescription from the Detective.

Address: Evans and Peel Pharmacy, 42 Devonshire Road, Chiswick, W4 2HD.
