Jamie Oliver has launched his new Italian restaurant at Gatwick Airport .
The pop-up style eatery, called Jamie Oliver Diner opened on Saturday August 12 and the television chef was down to celebrate the launch.
He posted a picture on Twitter on the runway alongside the caption: "Jamie's Diner at Gatwick Airport is now OPEN! Make sure you stop by pre-flight, you won't regret it."
The diner, located air-side in the south terminal, will be the second Jamie Oliver-branded store in the airport after the Jamie's Italian Restaurant .
It will follow similar ones that have already opened up at Heathrow Airport , focusing on quick and easy food that is also family friendly and can be a takeaway.
The menu includes pizza, cake and pastries to Italian Kimbo coffee and grab-and-go options for those in a hurry to catch a flight.

In the diner, there is a Union Jacks bar which offers a selection of beers, cocktails and bar snacks for you to enjoy.
