The Hummingbird Bakery will be handing out free cake to customers at its South Kensington store.

To celebrate the shop's seventh site which opened in Guildford this summer and to say "thank you" to loyal customers of London, cake-lovers will be able to indulge in the delicious giveaway at the bakery on Wednesday August 30.

The famous bakery, which also has sites in Richmond, Soho, Notting Hill, Spitalfields and Islington, is known for its fabulous frosting and indulgent flavours.

From chocolate malt, Nutella and red velvet, to carrot, salted caramel and cookies and cream, the selection of cakes and cupcakes is impressive, plus there are traybakes and brownies included in the range too.

If you want to get your hands on a free cake, head down to The Hummingbird Bakery in South Kensington on Wednesday, August 30.

Doors open at 9am.

Staff will be giving cake out at random throughout the day.
