Pizza fans are in for a treat this weekend, as London's biggest pizza festival, MySliceFest, is coming to Wembley Park on Saturday July 30.

MySliceFest is an all-day festival which will combine DJs, live music, games and challenges and a huge variety of pizza.

The festival, which has an anticipated capacity of 10,000, will host independent pizza companies from London and across the UK, who will set up stalls and sell by the slice from £4 each.

There will be traditional, vegetarian, vegan and gluten-free flavours and toppings available, while daring fast-food lovers can try adventurous pizza cones, pizza popcorn, XXL "Man vs Pizza" slices and more.

DJs confirmed to perform music at the festival include Delilah, Bluey Robinson, DJ Rugrat, Guy D'angelo, Sammy Porter and more.

Gary Bell, a spokesperson for Wembley Park said "We can't wait for MySliceFest to come to Wembley Park. As London's largest pizza festival, the variety of pizza on offer is incredible.

"It's also a great opportunity for guests to experience everything this iconic location has to offer."

Garden Grove

About Garden Grove: Stefano Karapatis said: "Garden Grove is a travelling pizzeria from Brighton, branching our roots out to the corners of the country where we travel each weekend to serve Neapolitan pizza with a twist for the taste buds of today.

"We cherry pick our ingredients to suit the contemporary market for today whilst fitting in line with old wood fired tradition, and we give our two pence back to the environment too

What kind of pizza is on offer: Stefano Karapatis said: "Neapolitan - fior di latte mozzarella, san marzano tomato, and freshly risen dough combined to cook at the right temperature in a wood fired oven brings together an aroma of flavours and smells.

"We'll be serving up a rhubarb basil pizza with apple honey BBQ sauce.. just this once!"

MYO Pizza

About MYO Pizza: Victoria Ponsford said: "MYO stands for Make Your Own and was primarily formed because of my love for all things Italian.

"I embarked on a two month journey around Italy sampling all the pizza and street food I could get my hands on. I came back with the vision of what I wanted to introduce to the UK, an authentic Italian street food experience.

"Combined with this, I also realise the world is getting fussier and being quite fussy myself, I came up with "make your own", allowing anyone to create their perfect pizza with the ingredients in the van.

"MYO can cater for all dietary requirements, and hopefully the fussiest of eaters!"

What kind of pizza is on offer: Victoria Ponsford said: "We'll be serving focaccia pizza by the slice; light, fluffy bases with a sweet taste (created with our special ingredient!)

"The dough is unique as I created the recipe myself and the secret ingredient isn't one you'd usually think of!

"Also, we're one of a few companies that make our dough and many of our toppings completely from scratch. It is then cooked in our stone baked oven and made to order.

"Everything is as fresh as possible, and hopefully absolutely delicious! We try and keep the toppings as authentically Italian as possible, but will be experimenting."

Where you can find them after MySliceFest: Cowes Week 5 (August 13); Bournmouth Air Festival (August 19 to 21); Victorious Festival Portsmouth (August 27 and 28).

Victoria Ponsford said: "Alternatively, people can book the van for private hire by emailing victoria@myopizza.co.uk."

Scream for Pizza

About Scream For Pizza: Alex Walker said: "Scream for Pizza was founded in 2014, when my co-owner Victoria and I decided to leave our jobs in the entertainment department of cruise ships to pursue a love for pizza.

"We went to Naples to train with master pizzaolos and started the business in Newcastle upon Tyne shortly after that. We describe their pizzas style as 'Neapolitan with a twist'; or neo-Neapolitan!"

What kind of pizza is on offer: Alex Walker said: "We draw inspiration from our travels and you can expect to find flavours from around the world on a classic charred, airy Neapolitan base.

"The Mexicana (the special of the day) is an example of this: spicy chorizo, mixed chillis, lime-soaked red onions, coriander, chipotle honey and sour cream!"

Where you can find them after MySliceFest: Alex Walker said: "Although we are based in the north east we regularly travel around other parts of the UK with our vintage former French army ambulance 'Goldie'."
