With tea and cakes, beer or wine, and dishes from around the world, there's something for everyone's taste buds at the Foodies Festival in Brentford over the Bank Holiday weekend.

This year marks the 10th anniversary celebrations of the UK's largest food and drinks gathering, which will see the gardens at Syon Park transformed into a haven for food junkies.

Make sure you arrive with an empty stomach as there will be celebrity and top local chefs cooking up their favourite summer recipes, new tasting theatres offering chocolate safari masterclasses, how to sniff chocolate like a rockstar, cheese tasting, bee keeping, mixology and spice balancing.

More than 200 exhibitors in the artisan producers market will be selling the best cheeses, wines and bakes, while the new wine and champagne theatre with experts will guide visitors through this season's best bubblies, and there's a masterclass in the new craft beer theatre.

At the heart of the festival is Street Food Avenue where people can tuck into hot and cold dishes from around the world and dine together in the feasting tent.

An exciting addition this year is the vintage tea tent which will hold daily tea dances. There's also the cake and bake theatre with masterclasses in 3D cake modelling, chocolate making and sugar-craft, and an accompanying chocolate, cake and bake village selling desserts, jams and baking essentials.

A barbecue arena for fans of outdoor dining and challenges throughout the day including the King of Grill and a Chilli Eating contest.

Little foodies can explore at the children's cookery theatre, and there will be plenty of open green spaces to sit and listen to the live music entertainment with a glass of bubbly or cocktail.
