With various reports that this has been one of the most boring election campaigns in living memory, there has been little for voters to sink their teeth into... until now.
A 10-pin bowling alley-cum-restaurant in Bayswater has revealed an election-themed menu available up to and including polling day.
On the menu at All Star Lanes, in Porchester Gardens, is:
- The Milibacon Burger - a classic beef burger with bacon, lettuce and tomato to represent ‘Red Ed’
- Dave’s Dog - a hot dog with caramelised onions which represents true blue fans thanks to its blue cheese Roquefort sauce
- Clucking Clegg - buttermilk fried chicken burger with creamed corn, applied liberally to represent Lib Dems
All come with Coalition Fries - a mix of classic and sweet potato fries - and are priced at £13 for a slider (board) with all three.
All Star Lanes managing director Christian Rose said: “We like to cook up something a little different and we thought it would be fun to get on the campaign trail with this scrumptious election-themed slider board.
“Each of the three dishes have their own individual flavour and character and we are looking forward to diners electing their favourite which will then be scaled up to full size and offered on our menu.”
