As if it's not enough to have a glass of bubbly or ice-cold G&T in your hand - the trendy drinks of choice - you can now have them in super bright colours.

Gordon's basically broke the internet when it released bright pink gin , perfect for mixing with Prosecco, a couple of months back.

But if pink's not your thing, you can now get your mitts on some bright BLUE sparkling wine or gin... here's what you need to know.

All about blue sparkling wine

Produced in Spain, Skyfall's makers are soon hoping it'll be drunk in swish bars across the country.

It's essentially a Cava in everything but name; why? Cava cannot be blue.

Speaking to Harpers.co.uk , director of Skyfall's UK distribution David Arbery said that, at between £10 and £12 a glass, the three-year-old gran reserva will sit in the premium market.

“We have to be careful about how we position it and what we call it,” he told the website.

“But it’s a three-year old gran reserva and it has a two cork rounds, whereas even high end Champagne only has one.

"The bottle is also a Cava bottle, and its dark so you can’t see the blue colour until you pour it. It’s costs more to do things this way, but we wanted it to be very luxurious, subtle and premium."

Bottles can be bought from the Skyfall website for £39.99 each.

Blue gin o'clock

The London No. 1 blue gin

Made in the heart of London, expect hints of juniper (obviously), coriander and liquorice from the rather punchy The London No. 1 blue gin.

It's finished off with bergamot oil, giving a perfumed aroma of earl grey tea.

It is one of only a handful of gins actually distilled in London and uses the small batch pot still method to ensure consistent quality, the makers say.

Also hoping it'll become a premium product, the brains behind London No. 1 say its name dates back to 1771, when the first Duke of Wellington, Arthur Wellesley, built his London townhouse on the southeast facing corner of Hyde Park.

Its formal name is Apsley House, but it quickly became known as No. 1 London due to its grandeur and prominent location - attributes the makers hope to emulate.

Serve London No. 1 with tonic, ice and an edible flower for "added flair"... ooooh!

It costs £33.90 a bottle - get it online or from Oddbins or Ocado.
