PERFORMING arts students at Hatch End High School have been invited to take part in the Harrow Light Opera Company's (HLOC) next production, West End Blockbusters - a compilation of well-known songs from the world of musicals.

The youngsters have been rehearsing with the regular members of the company since June.

Ian Parrott, chairman of HLOC, said: "This a unique opportunity for the students to experience live theatre on a larger scale and work with some of the most talented performers around.

"It is also a great opportunity for HLOC to tap into some really exciting young talent with the hope that they will continue the association in future productions."
