MURDER is on the menu as crime queen Agatha Christie's The Unexpected Guest is brought to life at the Compass Theatre next week.

Drama group Magic Hat Productions sixth stage show begins with a stranger lost in the fog on a long, lonely road. He seeks refuge in a nearby house, but may live to regret his decision after stumbling upon a murder scene.

When the dead man's wife confesses to killing her husband, the stranger agrees to provide her with an alibi - but who is he really protecting?

And in a house full of suspects, whose are the unidentified fingerprints discovered at the scene? As the plot thickens, clues are uncovered opening a Pandora's box of loves, hates, family secrets, suspicions and intrigues. In this seemingly open and shut case, nothing is what it seems.
