Getting lost in your favourite festive film is guaranteed to get you into the Christmas spirit .

Whether its Elf, Love Actually or It's A Wonderful Life that gives you that festive kick there are plenty of places in London screening classic Christmas films.

For those after the full Yuletide treatment there are cinemas are offering food, fizz and even fake snow.

The Lexi - It's A Wonderful Life

The Lexi cinema's box office and bar are run by volunteers

Kensal Rise's beloved non-profit cinema, The Lexi, will be hosting its annual IAWL Christmas screening on 2.30pm on Saturday (December 23).

Standard tickets are £11.50 each and in keeping with the Christmas spirit all the money goes towards funding a sustainable living and learning centre based in rural South Africa.

The Lexi Cinema is in Chamberlayne Road, Kensal Rise, Brent.

The Prince Charles - Sing-a-long-A Frozen

A favourite among cult cinema fans The Prince Charles in Soho promises not to disappoint this Christmas.

Known for its sing-a-long screenings, the cinema is showing Disney's Frozen this December and audience participation is a must.

Tickets for sing-a-long-A Frozen cost £16 for adults and £8.50 for children.

One Aldwych - Festive Film and Fizz

The One Aldwych Hotel's cinema in Westminster is celebrating Christmas with a festive film bonanza.

It's showing Elf, Love Actually, White Christmas, It's Wonderful Life and Miracle on 34th Street throughout November and December.

Tickets aren't cheap at £55 per head but the price includes a glass of Champagne to enjoy with the film and a three-course meal afterwards.

Backyard cinema - Snow Kingdom

Backyard Cinema's Lambeth pop-up is described as " the cosiest cinema winter has to offer" despite it being an outdoor market building transformed into an "ice kingdom."

Visitors must venture through "secret ice caves" and across a "frozen lake" before warming up on winter cocktails and feasting on pop-corn in front of their favourite festive films.

Screenings have sold out fast but there are still tickets available to see Elf and The Muppet Christmas Carol.

The cinema is in Newington Causeway, Lambeth.
