The Hayes teenager who rubbed shoulders with some of the world's hottest film stars at last month’s BAFTA ceremony has been at it again - this time meeting rising British actor Taron Egerton.

Eronita Bequiri, who attends Uxbridge College, was whisked off to Aberystwyth in Wales to meet the actor of the smash hit film The Kingsman: The Secret Service, as part of her role as a junior reporter for the film and education charity Into Film.

The 17-year-old has been involved with the charity since its launch in 2014, when she interviewed Oscar and BAFTA winner Eddie Redmayne.

She joined its talent development programme through her school film club and has interviewed other stellar stars including Sir Ben Kingsley and Helena Bonham Carter.

Last month, she stood on the red carpet at the BAFTAs and spoke to Patricia Arquette, who scooped Best Supporting Actress for Boyhood, supporting actor winner JK Simmons, and British film director Amma Asante.

Speaking about the charity, Eronita said: “It has been amazing, when I found out about Into Film my life literally changed. I went to places I’ve never been to before, it made me feel more independent. I think it’s amazing.”

Education charity Into Film puts film at the heart of children and young people’s learning, contributing to their educational, cultural, creative and personal development.
