"A woman in her early 30s, stuck in a boring and frustrating life she no longer wants and a husband she does not love. Telling no one, she resolves to flee her current life.

"Amber impulsively calls up a removals company intending to leave the next day with only the possessions she needs. The items stripped from the house will be the only clue to her husband that she is now gone.

"...But can anyone ever really be untraceable?"

Removed is a short independent film set in Putney, North Acton, and several other locations around west London, based on true stories and neighbourhood dramas.

Co-writer and producer Chloe Graham grew up in Putney and half of the film is set to be filmed in her west London home.

She said: "I am very excited about this project and will stop at nothing to ensure that it is a success."

For over a year, the film has been in development, from writing the script, to viewing locations and drinking endless coffees. Now, through crowdfunding, it is becoming a reality, with £1,999 already raised out of the £3,000 needed to create the project.

The film is due to start shooting on April 28.

Graham said: "Since everyone is doing this for free the least we can do is keep the cast and crew comfortable, paying for the bare essentials that any good production crew provides.

"Every person who donates will be given a reward: a link to the finished film, an invite to the wrap party, exclusive screening, the chance to visit the set and if you are very generous even an executive producer credit. Every person who donates will be listed on the credits in special thanks.

"Once post-production is completed we will be entering Removed into as many film festivals as possible."
