West Londoners Benedict Cumberbatch and Keeley Hawes are among many talented actors and actresses nominated for this year's British Academy Television Awards (BAFTAs).

Freddie Fox and Amanda Abbington have revealed who has been nominated for the BAFTA TV awards this year.

The annual event will take place on Sunday May 10 and will be hosted by Graham Norton for the ninth time.

Nominations have been announced for 12 categories, which include Leading Actress, Leading Actor, Entertainment Programme and Entertainment Performance.

Happy Valley, Marvellous, The Missing and Line Of Duty lead the way with three nominations each.

Benedict Cumberbatch, from Hammersmith, has received his third BAFTA nomination for Sherlock.

Keeley Hawes, from Marylebone, has been nominated for her role in Line of Duty.
