CBBC is looking for budding popstars aged between 11 and 14 years old to take part in series three of the hit show, Got What it Takes?

Auditions start in the next few weeks and the show is also looking for mums to join their talented children.

Confident, articulate children with a passionate for music who are up for a challenge are encouraged to apply.

Ideal candidates must love performing but also have a sense of fun, and a 'have a go' attitude.

The show wants mums to take part in the show with their children and compete in fun physical challengers. (But fear not mums, you don’t need to be able to sing!)

Children must be at least 11 years old on July 24 2017 and no more than 14 years old on August 28 2017.

Applicants can include a relative or carer on their application if they can't include their mum.

Are you ready to tackle the music industry? To take part you must complete the application form and return it with two recorded clips.

Children must also have a parent or guardian’s permission before completing the form.

Applications have been extended, and all completed applications should be sent back to by 6pm on Friday (June 23) but interested applicants are encouraged to apply as soon as possible as the show will be auditioning around the country in the next few weeks.

If you are lucky enough to make the next selection stage, successful applicants will be phoned.

The show will talk to both parents and children to find out why they would be great on the programme.

Filming will take place from July 24 to August 18 2017 (dates to be confirmed) so budding singers and mums must must be available during this period.

There will be two more filming dates early 2018.
