Perfect for young families, The Paul Robeson Theatre presents it's Summer series of family films.

Ranging from Disney to action films, the theatre will be showing everyone's favourite films over the months of July and August. The series includes Hercules, My Fair Lady and Brighton Rocks. Located in Hounslow's Treaty Centre, the 280 seat venue has played host to musicals, plays, dance shows and live music throughout the year.

Outdoor theatre across the borough:

To soak up everything the Summer has to offer, a number of theatre companies are staging outdoor performances all over the borough. Including a sub-plot based around Goldoni's 'The Servant of Two Masters', a performance of Treasure Island will be showcased at Boston Manor House. On the same day, families are invited to watch Shakespeare’s Romantic Comedy 'A Midsummer Night's Dream' in Gunnersbury park. These interactive performances, set in some of the borough's nicest areas, offer families the perfect way to spend their summer days.

Colour, Music and Dance:

TW4 Carnival returns to Hounslow this Summer after last year's success. The 'Big Dance Bus' will be parading down some of the borough's busiest roads. With music ranging from swing dance and folk to hip hop and RnB, local residents are invited to take part in some of the many workshops on offer. With a pop-up dancefloor, the bus will be celebrating different genres of music that have helped to shape and influence the borough.

Weekly Workouts in the Park:

Running enthusiastic are invited to take part in a five kilometre fun run every Saturday morning.

Both Crane Park and Bedfont Lakes Parks will be hosting the runs, offering the community an opportunity to observe the beauty of the borough natural parks whilst trying to set a personal best. Entry to the run is free, however runners must register for the run beforehand to ensure they receive their own personalised barcode.

The Bare Necessities of the Summer:

As part of the 'Our Parks Presents' project, the Jungle Book will be screened in Inwood Park. The project aims to promote and celebrate all that is good about outdoor cinema. This event offers families in the area the chance to see some of their favourite cartoon characters in the beautiful setting of Inwood Park. The Perfect way to celebrate all the summer has to offer.

A Summer day at the Funfair:

Across the month of August, a number of different funfair are popping up all over the borough.

With amusement rides, classic funfair food and great music, each fair provides families with a day full of activities in the sun. The funfairs will be coming to a number of different parks in the area, including Redlees Park, Lampton Park and Feltham Green. Visitors will also be able to see some of the many fantastic live performances on offer.
