It may seem like the half-term holidays have only just ended, but Christmas is coming!

The winter break will be falling between mid-December and early January for most state schools, and it'll be a good chance to get outdoors and do something fun in the area.

Once school's out, you'll have to find ways to entertain your little ones, but help will be at hand - we'll be putting together guides to get you through Christmas with lots of ideas and things to do.

These dates could be subject to change as some schools do differ, so if you're in doubt it's probably best to check with your child's teachers.
