ONE of Harrow Arts Centre's resident companies is behind one of six outdoor performances on show at the forthcoming Under One Sky.

Each of the Circulate Seeds project pieces is a work in progress created during a week-long residency and all six will be staged at the community spectacular in Byron Recreation Ground on September 21.

Srishti - Nina Rajarani Dance School, one of Harrow Arts Centre's two resident companies, has devised one of the six pieces called Utsarjam!

It is described as "this upbeat, playful and energetic work will develop into an outdoor piece with a festival-like atmosphere; highlighting the rhythmic play between the ancient and the modern combining original Bharatanatyam material and a newly written musical score".

The other five pieces were created by teams at The Albany, a performance arts centre in Deptford, south London; artsdepot, an arts centre in Finchley, north London; Millfield Arts Centre in Enfield, north London; TARA Arts theatre in Earlsfield, south-west London, and Watermans Theatre in Brentford.

All the participating venues are part of Circulate, a consortium of touring organisations from Outer London that are building on the success of the London 2012 Outdoor Arts Festival.

The other five 'scratch' Circulate Seeds pieces are:
