With Christmas just around the corner, it’s the perfect time to enjoy the festive markets.

With everything from mulled wine to hot waffles, alpine chalets will pop up on London's Southbank for the annual Wintertime Market.

The 17-acre site will be transformed into a winter landscape with stalls lined up along Queen’s Walk offering scrumptious street food, artisan gifts and warm drinks.

The Wintertime Market will run from Friday November 10 to Saturday December 30.

The Queen’s Walk will offer dining experiences and a bustle of pop-up street food stalls and bars for visitors of all ages to enjoy, including the return of Jimmy Garcia with his pop-up Alpine lodge dining experience.

Hot chocolate

Indulge in a dreamy hot chocolate

Experts Beltane & Pop will be on hand to deliver rich hot chocolate with a choice of delectable toppings.

Toppings include orange zest, gourmet marshmallow, chantilly cream and fresh mint.

Liqueurs of black cherry, coffee, amaretto and more can be added to any drink.

The Rooftop Bar

A cosy hideout sat above the bustle of the riverside in the roof garden of Queen Elizabeth Hall, where visitors can enjoy panoramic views across London with blankets and warming drinks.

The Hoplocker Bar

The Hoplocker Bar returns for a second year with a new Nordic inspired Wintertime Bar, celebrating feasting with local and international hearty craft ales along with special guests Parm Star completing the feas.

Top traders from across London, and the UK, will return for the Wintertime Market bringing an array of festive treats and gifts, alongside delicious street food favourites from across the globe.

Festive decorations

A giant festive tree surrounded by clusters of trees will take centre stage on the Festival Terrace, twinkly lights will run along Queen’s Walk and giant glittering baubles will shimmer in the Clore Ballroom.

There are plenty magical shows for the young and young at heart. Enjoy free festive events from choirs and social dances to ABBA singalongs and live music. There is also instruments carved from ice.
