After a full house at the first nearly new baby and children's sales in Isleworth, the second is just round the corner.

Mum-of-two Danielle Armstrong of Mortlake Road, Richmond, launched Mum2Mum market at The Blue School last month and is preparing for another busy day on Saturday (April 18).

Whether starting out on the road to parenthood, looking for the next round of clothes or toys, or needing to de-clutter and earn some cash - this second-hand event is for you.

The 35-year-old mum set up the market after hearing about it through a friend, and chose the location having spent a great deal of time at baby groups in the area.

The concept, where mums sell to mums, was started up in 2011 by busy mum Cath Harrop who was fed up of ebay and came up with an alternative way to bring parents together to buy, save and earn.

The launch event on March 28 had queues half an hour before opening, with 120 buyers through the school doors, many arriving in the first hour to pick up the best bargains.

The next Mum2mum Isleworth market is due to be held at The Blue School on North Street from 3pm to 5pm on Saturday,.

Items sold for newborns to children aged six. Entry is £2.

Ms Armstrong hopes to expand into central Hounslow, Feltham and Chiswick in the future.
