Members of the new Hounslow schools district under-11 team have been promised the chance to play in front of scouts

The search is on for Hounslow's best young footballers.

A new schools district Under-11 team is being formed to represent the borough.

Pupils currently in Year 5 at schools across Hounslow can try out for the new team at Cranford Community College , in High Street, Cranford , on Wednesday April 6 from 2pm-4pm.

David Williams, of Premier Skills Academy, said the team would get to compete against some of the best young players in the south east and would have the opportunity to catch the eye of watching scouts.

He added that they would receive advanced football coaching to help them make the most of their ability.
