Red Nose Day returns on Friday (March 24) and will see people across the south east raising money through cake sales, challenges and fancy dress.

Since its launch in 1988, Red Nose Day has become something of a British institution.

It's the day, every two years, when people can get together and do something funny for money at home, school or work in aid of Comic Relief.

There's a fantastic night of TV on the BBC with comedy and entertainment, plus stories of where money has been spent which are as inspiring as they are harrowing.

Comic Relief spends the money raised by Red Nose Day to help people living tough lives across the UK and Africa.

You can email your Comic Relief photos to surreylive@trinitymirror.com or leave them in the comments on our Facebook page.
