ZSL London Zoo is preparing for the wildest run in London, its annual Stampede.

A Sunday run like no other, sprinters (or strollers) will run past some of the world’s most incredible animals.

International conservation charity ZSL (Zoological Society of London) is calling on people of all abilities to sign up for its sporting event.

A limited number of spaces are still available for brave runners to hop, trot and gallop their way around ZSL London Zoo.

Graham Morgan, development manager at ZSL London Zoo, said: "Join us on Sunday, March 26 and show the tigers what you are made of.

"You can prowl around the new 10k route or you can take on the latest addition to the Stampede run with a 5k challenge."

Choose between the 5km or 10km route

Participants will drift past the bearded pigs and leap past the lemurs then fly out to tackle the wilderness of Regent’s Park.

The fun run helps to raise money for ZSL’s work around the world to ensure no one has to imagine a world without wildlife.

All funds raised from the ZSL London Zoo Stampede will help to care for and conserve some of the most wonderful and endangered animals across the world.

Last September fundraisers raised a roar-some sum of £45,000 for wildlife conservation and organisers hope to see runners once again help to raise vital donations for ZSL’s global work for wildlife.
