Santa will be joined by a husky for this year's Christmas fair at St Bridget's Christmas Fayre in Isleworth.

The big man is giving Rudolph and co the day off, but visitors can meet him and his real life canine companion at the fair next Saturday (December 6).

There will be music throughout the afternoon at the event, with carols from JPR3 JAZZ and a mix of classical and Christmas music from a string quartet.

A wishing tree and a tombola, with prizes including a 40 inch TV, will be among the other attractions on the day at the church in Memorial Square, Twickenham Road, and the neighbouring St Mary's Catholic Primary School.

The fair is the latest in a series of events organised under the Inspiring Isleworth banner, and the group's festively named publicity officer Nowell Anderson said: "This year's fair is set to attract an even bigger crowd than the previous year with a sole aim to bring the local community together, rekindle friendships, have fun and raise money for the well-deserved community groups in the Parish."
