Muggles can gain after-hour access to the Harry Potter Studio Tour in an exclusive Christmas deal.

    Once doors have closed to the public in December, Warner Bros Studio Tour London will welcome Groupon members into the world of Harry Potter.

    Guests can walk the flagstones of the iconic Hogwarts Great Hall before viewing many of the famous sets, including the Ministry of Magic, Dumbledore’s office, and the Gryffindor common room.

    Visitors will also get an exclusive look at the new permanent expansion – The Forbidden Forest which opened on March 31.

    Hagrid will welcome muggles through the Hogwarts Gates guide you as you walk deep into the forest which is filled with 19 trees each with a diameter of 12 feet.

    You can walk beneath the giant entwined roots , bow to the majestic hippogriff, Buckbeak and come face-to-face with Aragog.

    While exploring the attractions, you will also be able to enjoy experiences which have been specifically added for Groupon members like the special effect demonstration courtesy of Oscar-winning Special Effects Supervisor John Richardson, from the Harry Potter film series.

    Learn wand moves and fly a broomstick like a member of the cast in the Studio Tour’s green screen experience.

    During a short break in the attraction’s Backlot Cafe, guests will be able to enjoy a selected hot meal; a glass of wine, beer, hot or soft drink; and a Butterbeer served in a souvenir cup to take home.

    They’ll also get the chance to meet the Death Eaters as they patrol the Hogwarts Gates.

    All guests will receive a complimentary Forbidden Forest edition of the souvenir guidebook on arrival and the tour will stay open until midnight on these special nights.

    How to get tickets

    Price: Tickets cost £49 for one entry. You can buy tickets here. If you enter NEW15 during checkout the price will be reduced to £41.25.

    When: 8 December, entrance between 3.30 p.m. and 7.30 p.m.

    Event closing time is 11.59pm.
