Hounslow Urban Farm will be hosting the annual Festival of Fishkeeping this October, writes Norresa Perucho.

This year, there is an extra surprise, as the festival hosts its first dog show hosted by Lisa Bennett who runs pet care company Emprets and Empraws in Bedfont.

The event which has been running for 27 years, its second year at the farm, is known as the largest running hobbyist in the U.K

The weekend long event, will have 20 attractions throughout including: a children petting zoo, Japanese Koi show and urban farm tours.

There are also 15 fish keeping events which include a Killifish Show and A Hagen Exo Terra Reptile Show.

The Emprets and Empraws Dog Show takes part over two days, with overall winners for each day.

Categories for the dog show include: best cross breed, best hoop jumper and dog most like its owner.

The Festival of Fishkeeping will be a promising day for both families and those in the local community.

Tickets are £6 for children and £7.50 foradults.

The event takes place in October on Saturday (4) and Sunday (5) at Hounslow Urban Farm, Faggs Road, Feltham, TW14 0LZ
