A Power Ranger will be in town next month for the reopening of a children's toy shop.

On Saturday April 4, The Entertainer will reopen its refitted Uxbridge store, inside the Pavilions Shopping Centre.

The retailer has enjoyed strong profit growth over the last five years, and is now the fastest growing multichannel toy retailer in the UK. Further stores will be opened across the UK throughout 2015.

To celebrate the opening of the Uxbridge store there will be a few in-store events throughout the day. The red Power Ranger from the popular children's TV show will make special appearances and a trolley dash will also take place, undertaken by children who benefit from the ORCHYD charity for disabled children.

Gary Grant, managing director and founder of The Entertainer, added: “After experiencing such solid growth across the UK we are pleased to announce the refit of the Uxbridge store.

"Uxbridge and the centre itself continues to offer a strong retail position for our store as it attracts large numbers of family shoppers who are demanding more toy shopping choice on the high street and within shopping centres.

“We look forward to bringing joy and wonder to the children of Uxbridge and we have plans to increase our presence in UK and will announce further plans soon.”
