The MP for Ealing North is joining other politicians, lords and members of the press for a pancake eggstravaganza which will raise money for charity.

Steve Pound has been practising for the the Rehab Parliamentary Pancake Race taking place on Shrove Tuesday (February 17) in Victoria Tower Gardens, Westminster, at 10am.

The Rehab Group is an independent international cluster of charities and public benefits companies which support disabled and marginalised people in the UK through education, training, health, social care and employment services.

This event has been going for 17 years now and seeks to raise awareness of the work Rehab does.

But, who will bring home the Race Magnificent Tin Cup?

Mr Pound said: "The lords may have stolen the race from the MPs in 2014 but we are determined that pancake race all-time low will not be repeated in 2015.

For weeks now MPs have been rising at the crack of dawn, bleary-eyed but resolutely single-minded in their determination, for a top secret boot camp deep in the depths of the Houses of Parliament to ensure we are in world-class flipping shape come Shrove Tuesday."
