The Color Run is returning to London this summer and it looks messier than ever before.

Dubbed "the happiest 5k on the planet", the concept is simple - dress in white, run 5km (around three miles) with your family, friends or colleagues and finish the day head-to-toe in kaleidoscopic colour.

Those taking part in the event at Wembley Park this June will be dusted with powder paints thrown by eager volunteers at each kilometre mark along the route.

The run is dubbed as ‘the happiest 5k on the planet’

The Color Run returns with foam zone, unicorn mascots and powder paint

What's new this year?

While last year’s runners enjoyed the Tropicolor zone to run through, this year participants need to be ready to dream in colours.

For the first time ever, participants will take the first step toward making their dreams a reality as they cross the start line and enter a magical world.

Prepare for a new Cloud Foam Zone, unicorn mascots and a variety of new colours at zones throughout the route.

When participants arrive at the Finish Festival, they will get the ultimate colour inspiration as they party with friends and family amidst vibrant bursts of Color Throws.

The event takes place at Wembley Park in June
