Russell Brand is embarking on a 71-date UK and Ireland tour which includes a handful of shows in and around London.

The tour entitled "Re:Birth" kicks off in April this year and runs until November 2018, visiting Hammersmith , Brixton, Richmond, High Wycombe and Watford.

The comedian performed a one-off show in 2015 at Beck Theatre , Hayes to test out material and now fans will get the chance to see an all-new show.

Brand will be wrestling with the questions "What is real?" and "Who are we?" in his often thought provoking and controversial live shows.

He also promises to discuss modern media, politics, sex, fatherhood and death during the "Re:Birth" tour, after becoming a father in November 2016.

On his newly found fatherhood role he says: "How do we make sense of the madness of our lives once we become parents?

"What am I going to tell my daughter about conformity and responsibility? What happens if she grows up to be like me or, worse, date someone like me?"
