Tickets are on sale for this year's Ealing Comedy Festival and the first of the headliners have been announced.

Regarded as one of the county’s best-loved comedians, Julian Clary will be headlining the first night of the festival on Friday July 17.

Known for his wicked word play and saucy innuendo, Julian will be bringing more than 25 years in comedy to the stage in Walpole Park.

He will be joined on the comedy stage for five nights of laughs by big name acts including Nick Helm and Marcus Brigstocke.

Tickets are now on sale, via the Ealing Summer Festival website www.ealingsummer.com, and cost £20 per person per show (plus online or phone booking fees).

The events are suitable for people aged 18 and over, but young people aged 15-17 can attend if they are with an adult.

Performances take place in Walpole Park, Mattock Lane, Ealing.
