"There’s this girl she is a billionaire. Her house is a palace"-David said running over to three of his best friends whom he had know since he was 5yrs old. Now he was 17 yrs old.
"Well we all need money and"-
"And" Sarah interrupted David.
"What I’m trying to say is I’m interested in is the money. You know the rich con the poor the poor con the rich. Robin Hood’s famous saying. We need the money and we’ve got a chance to get it."
"Technically that wasn’t Robin Hood’s famous saying," Robert replied.
"Hmm I think I get what you are saying", Sally said smirking.
"I don’t care as long as my art college fees can be paid," Sarah smiled cunningly.
Are you in or out?" Sally asked Robert. Robert hesitated.
"In" he replied .The four friends all secretly smiled at their selves thinking of the money they could each get.
"How will it work?" Robert asked.
"Wait and watch," David said.
They were sitting in the dining room of Samantha’s house the girl who had moved in nine weeks ago.
"I’m going to get some coffee", Samantha said.
As Jasmine was leaving the room Sally bumped against her.
"Hey you left your chain behind", Sally called after her. Samantha didn’t seem to have heard her and vanished out of sight. It was a gold chain that had a key on it.
"I feel so guilty she’s been so nice to us and has brought us lots of things".
"Yeah that’s because she still thinks we are rich when she finds out we are poor living on rent and are using her stuff to sell them to earn good money so we can afford to buy our art equipment so we can get good marks I honestly don’t think she will be nice to us do you?". David pointed out.
"There you all are", Samantha’s mum entered and like Samantha she had the large blue eyes and the black hair. "Come on its time for lunch".
"Yeah come on" Samantha’s dad entered, he had blonde hair unlike Samantha. Samantha. Everybody followed Samantha’s parents out of the room; they were so engrossesed in talking that no one noticed when the parents had vanished out of sight. The four friends searched and searched but couldn’t find any trace of the parents. They soon came to a room .David opened the room hoping to find the parents in their but the room was deserted apart from a computer that was lying in the corner.
"Hmm a key hole on the side of the computer," Robert said. Robert looked at the gold chain that Sally was holding and put the key into the key hole. Suddenly the screen lit up and something strange happened. Their was light everywhere it was so bright and dazzling. When they opened their eyes they realized they were stuck inside the computer. Everything seemed robotic and everyone sounded different. After getting adjusted to the changes the four individuals began to talk.
"How do we get out of here?" David asked .The four individuals looked at each other.
"Well to get out of this computer I think you have to pass a level."
"There is one level you have to complete if you pass you and your friends can go and take the treasure that’s the prize if you pass the level along with you but if you fail you and your friends will be eaten up the wolves, a voice echoed across the room. You first have to answer three riddles. The first riddle is":
"What is as light as a feather and no one can catch it?"
There was a pause.
"Breath" Robert replied proudly.
"If you have it, you want to share it. If you share it, you don't have it. What is it?"
"Hmm that’s easy a secret" Robert replied.
Now the last riddle the voice echoed.
"What goes up but can never go down?"
David replied "age" You have answered them all correctly .All of a sudden there was a bright flash of light and the four individuals found themselves in the room.
"Where’s the treasure chest?" David asked.
"There!" Robert said. The four individuals saw some gold poking out of the cupboard.
"Oh my God!" Sally gasped .There lying in front of the cupboard where two dead bodies. One body was of a man and the other body of a lady.
The four friends kneeled in front of the dead bodies .Sarah picked up the dagger. The four friends passed the dagger around and examined it closely .Just then there was a knock at the door and four policemen entered.
"You are under arrest for killing Samantha’s Brown parents", the first policeman said.
"These aren’t the bodies of Samantha’s Brown parents."
"Oh yes they are" said Samantha coming in.
"Stop lying .We’ve seen your parents".
"Officers don’t believe them take the dagger I’m sure you will find their fingerprints on it. They lied to me and said they were rich", Samantha said her face full of tears.
The four friends got handcuffed and as the officer dragged David passed Samantha he asked her
"Why did you lie?"
My parents are alive by the way and thanks for the treasure I didn’t leave behind my chain purposely you know. I moved from U.S.A to England for this treasure but I couldn’t put it in the keyhole you know why? Because no person who was greedy for the treasure could get inside that computer. Then I pondered what to do .S o we layed a trap. You didn’t find the room coincidentally my parents lead you there .Remember you once said the rich con the poor the poor con the rich
How do you know?-he didn’t have time to hear Jasmines reply but as he was leaving David said to himself
"Technically that wasn’t Robin Hoods Famous saying. The story hasn’t ended it’s just began". He smiled cunning to himself. It’s just begun..................
