Harrow's newest private gallery is hosting an exhibition by a tutor at Harrow College.

Colne Studio and Gallery in Vaughan Road, West Harrow - which was previously called Fovea Gallery before it closed and reopened under new management - hosts Susan Dean's display called 'Thread'.

Her mixture of old work and new - a total of 30 pieces - comprising of screen prints, collagraphs, punk photography and woven fabrics.

Visitors can pop in to see the display between 10am and 5pm on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Thursdays and Fridays until November 14.

Susan, who earned a degree in textiles and fashion with a supporting study in photography from West Surrey College, says: "I am delighted to have the opportunity to exhibit my work in a local gallery."

She is a tutor at Harrow College's art, design and ceramics department and once took part in an exhibition at the same venue along with her work colleagues when the venue was the Fovea Gallery.

Prior to entering the teaching profession, Susan attended a course at the Royal College of Art and ran her own print studio in Berkshire. Before that, she worked with designer Zika Ascher.

'Thread' marks the first in a series of exhibitions at Colne Studios and Gallery by artists with a connection to Harrow.
