Privacy by James Graham and directed by Josie Rourke
Privacy by James Graham and directed by Josie Rourke

Privacy is a new play by James Graham which explores how governments and corporations collect and use our personal information - and what that means for us.

It will be performed at The Donmar Warehouse in Earlham Street, Seven Dials, WC2H 9LX from April 10 to May 31 with tickets going on sale at the end of this month.

The full cast is Paul Chahidi, Gunnar Cauthery, Jonathan Coy, Joshua McGuire, Nina Sosanya and Michelle Terry.

James Graham, whose Olivier-nominated National Theatre hit  This House  brilliantly exposed the workings of British politics, brings the same forensic wit and insight to this dramatic investigation of the digital age. Directed by Josie Rourke and provoked by the recent revelations of Edward Snowden,  Privacy  draws on interviews with journalists, politicians and analysts, and asks the audience directly, how much do we give away when we share?

Director Josie Rourke is Artistic Director of the Donmar Warehouse. She trained under Hollywood director Sam Mendes, through the Donmar theatre's annual Resident Assistant Director Scheme. In 2011 her production of  Much Ado About Nothing,  starring David Tennant and Catherine Tate, ran in the West End at Wyndham’s Theatre and received an Olivier Award nomination for Best Revival.

To book tickets call the Box Office on 0844 871 7624 from Mon-Sat 9am-10pm, Sun 10am-8pm. The first Barclays Front Row £10 tickets for  PRIVACY  will go on sale at 10am on Monday 31 March 2014.
