A dance school has chosen to donate £9,250 raised at a ‘magical’ show to Cancer Research UK.
The Joyce Butler School of Dance held their 79th annual production, this time called ‘Magical, Musical Moments’, at the Beck Theatre, Hayes.
More than 200 students from the Northfields, Ealing and Hayes branches aged two to 75 took part in ballet , tap, modern, street, national and classical greek dances to music from well-known shows such as Matilda, Miss Saigon, Gigi and Half a Sixpence.
School Principal Vanessa Hoskins said she was delighted with the amount raised and thanked the teaching staff for their hard work, the students for their loyalty, and the parents for their support.
The event was held last month and next year’s has been planned for July 18 and 19, also at the Beck Theatre.
