It's almost that time of the year to be in awe of spectacular dancers performing on the famous stage at the Royal Albert Hall .

Dance Proms 2017 is just around the corner and will see 500 young performers take part in the biggest national youth dance celebration in November.

Joining in this year will be Chiswick's very own talented troupe of 20 youngsters, aged 14 to 18, from the Arts Educational School .

The youth dance company students' eye-catching contemporary dance routine video won over a panel of experts and secured them a place out of hundreds of schools across the world.

Led by teacher Christopher Reynolds, the students are busy rehearsing in preparation for the big day on Sunday November 5.

Mr Reynolds said: “ArtsEd Youth Dance Company are incredibly excited to be performing as part of Dance Proms at the Royal Albert Hall.

"It is such a fantastic opportunity for the dancers at ArtsEd and we can't wait to see them performing in November.”

The group will be joined on the famous stage by 20 other chosen dance academies, from as far afield as Vietnam and Austria.

The event will showcase a range of dance styles and genres from urban and Greek fusion to neo-classical ballet and tap.
