Ambitious London Welsh have signed up three new players for next season.

Aaron Liffchak has joined from Saracens following a successful loan spell at Old Deer Park this season. The 22-year-old scored one try in 14 games for Welsh.

Joining him will be 21-year-old Llaneli Scarlets hooker Daniel George and Tom Brown, 24, from Newbury.

Welsh boss Martin Jones said: "We are delighted to secure the services of Aaron, who has been one of our players of the season.

"Daniel is one of the outstanding young hookers in Wales and we're delighted that he has chosen to come to us to further his rugby career, while Tom has been one of the most impressive back row forwards in National One this season."

Welsh go into their final game at Cornish Pirates on Saturday eyeing their highest league finish in five years. A 22-10 win over Plymouth Albion on Saturday moved Martin Jones' men up to seventh in National Division One.

A debut try from Noah Cato, a Paul Mackey effort plus two conversions and a drop-goal from Matthew Jones put the Exiles 17-0 up at half-time.

And although the visitors fought back to within a score after the break, Michael Tagicakibau's first try for the club ensured victory.

Meanwhile, in National Three South, London Scottish finished fifth in their first season back in the national leagues following a 35-12 win at Luton.

Matt Fitzgerald, Andrew Smith, Rory Greenslade-Jones and Steve Millard all crossed the line for Scottish, while a penalty try completed the rout, with Chris Mickelwood converting all five efforts.

Rosslyn Park finished ninth after ending the season with six wins out of seven, culminating in Saturday's 16-5 win at Dings Cruaders.

Ed Lewis-Pratt bagged their only try, while Richard Mahony kicked them to victory with three penalties and a conversion.
