Boss Brian McDermott singled out Rob Purdham for praise after Harlequins Rugby League's stunning win at Hull Kingston Rovers on Sunday.
Purdham converted tries from Will Sharp, David Howell, Rikki Sheriffe, Chad Randall, Gareth Haggerty and Henry Paul, and kicked two penalties, as Quins won 40-18.
And McDermott reckons his man is back to his best after a dip in form, followed by a spell on the sidelines.
He said: "Rob has been back with us for a few weeks now since his injury and having a couple of ropey games mid-season.
"I'm not going to play the violin for him, but he was struggling with his back and his knee. However, he just seems to be getting better and better.
"We are such a massively different team when he's in it. He doesn't come up with quantity stats, but quality too.
"He rarely just carries the ball or makes a tackle, there's always something else."
McDermott wouldn't mind a few more trips to Hull as it seems to bring out the best in his side.
Back in February, Quins won 24-6 at Hull FC, who Quins visit again in a fortnight's time.
Before that they have the massive challenge of hosting St Helens on Sunday. But McDermott will take heart from his side's most recent holiday in Hull.
He said: "Sunday's win rivals Hull a few months back as our best performance on the road."
