LONDON WELSH knew exactly what to do with the wind against them in the second-half at Rotherham Titans on Saturday.

And as a result, they scored 10 unanswered points to win the National One clash 20-7 and bounce straight back from last week's National Trophy exit to Moseley.

Paul Sampson took Nick Runciman's inviting pass to score the crucial try, which Harris converted, as well as kicking a late-drop goal to secure victory.

Head coach Danny Wilson said: "I was extremely pleased with our second half performance.

"We asked the boys to execute a very specific game plan into the wind and they carried it out to the letter.

"We needed to attack both sides of the ruck and play quite a narrow, aggressive keep-ball game to starve them of possession and then kick into space, because the wind was very strong.

"The boys did it extremely well and Rotherham struggled to get out of their own half, even with a strong wind behind them.

"The way we stuck to the game plan showed the professional edge we're trying to develop with these boys."

Before the break, Welsh were awarded a penalty try when Shaun Ruwer was held up. Harris converted to add to an earlier penalty.
