FELTHAM FALCONS have swooped on a £5,000 prize thanks to parent club Harlequins Rugby League.

Quins landed the goods from Frontline Bathrooms for topping the the Super League's fair play table last season, and handed it to the Falcons. They in turn donated it to their hosts at Feltham Community College as part of its refurbishment programme. Quins RL community coach Andy Flint, who also runs the Feltham Falcons Club, said: "Harlequins RL are proud to be the inaugural winners of the Frontline Fair Play Index, and the £5,000 prize gave us opportunity to give something unique back to the local rugby league community.

"Feltham Community Sports College is certainly a deserved recipient. They are long-time supporters of the local rugby league fraternity and have been more than accommodating hosts to the Feltham Falcons. "Their training facilities are also offered to the Quins RL scholarship players and, from time to time,to the Quins first team squad."

Meanwhile,Quins went down to a late Catalans Dragons try at the Super League Millennium Magic.

Despite leading 16-6 through tries from Michael Worrincy,Scott Hill and Chris Melling, Quins went on to lose 18-16. They host Leeds Rhinos in the Challenge Cup on Sunday. ..
