Old Priorians claimed the bragging rights and a place in the Middlesex Bowl final following their derby triumph over Ealing Amateurs.

It was the first meeting between the two sides and Priorians fans went home the happier after a convincing 52-3 victory.

Priorians are on the verge of promotion to London One North and they showed their class to cruise home despite missing several key players.

Following a Ross McIntosh penalty, Andrew Haston secured the first try, before a period of fairly equal play, with Ealing's team bolstered by the experience and strength of Phil Cotter and Adam Hulmston.

David Wilkie, who would later be given the man of the match award, stormed across the line after collecting a loose ball to make it 10-3 as the teams headed in at the half-time interval.

The second half saw the game very much in the hands of the Priorians', whose superior fitness and pace allowed them control over possession and territory.

And the depth of their squad allowed the fresh substitutes of Michael Simpon and Seb Oddi to score a further two tries, along with one from Mayowa Olunilua.

Wilkie added two more, completing his hat trick.
