STEVE Arnold is expected to return for Hayes and Yeading's trip to AFC Telford on Saturday.

The on-loan Wycombe Wanderers goalkeeper (pictured) missed Tuesday night's 5-3 win against Kettering Town, but his hamstring injury is not serious and he should be fit to face Andy Sinton's men in Shropshire.

French midfielder Jules Marsaud could be in the squad for the first time after he received the international clearance required needed to be included by boss Nas Bashir.

Bashir will need Arnold and his new-look defence - boosted in the past week with the additions of Dan Spence and Fraser Franks - to be at their best to contain the threat of Telford striker Chris Sharp.

Sharp has struck three goals in the last four games and boss Sinton believes he will continue to be a prolific scorer at Conference level after being plucked from League of Wales side The New Saints for a club record £5,000.

“The boy’s a finisher," said Sinton. "If you can score goals in the Welsh Premier you can certainly score goals in the Conference. He’s a good kid, he wants to work hard. He’s just given me three goals in four games and I’ll take that."
