Westminster Warriors slew Haringey last weekend, not once but twice, to reach the Community Basketball League (CBL) final.

The Kensal Rise side’s' first game against Haringey 76ers was tight throughout, but Warriors emerged victorious with a phenomenal effort from player-coach Kenny Neyimana who scored 15 of his team's score of 27 in the first half, helping Warriors end 27-23 going into the half.

This was followed by a MVP performance from Malik Donegal who played aggressive defence and contributed a significant seven points in the final quarter to see Warriors win by a single point, 46-45.

Then they had to play a second Haringey side calling themselves TBA.

Great play from Tola Okiki, who scored scoring six, MVP Udo Lawrence with nine, as well as clutch performance from Ashley St Ange, Warriors saw them home with a 13-point difference this time, 60-53.
