Graham Weeks was among several members of Hillingdon Cycling Club who attended the 66th Annual Luncheon and Prize Presentation held by the Veterans Time Trial Association London & Home Counties Group.
Weeks, the Hillingdon club champion, cycled the 35 miles to Aldenham Golf and Country Club near Watford to receive his award for winning the midweek 10 mile series and then entertained the gathering with an amusing speech before riding back to to Ascot.
Clubmates Roy May and Brian Harris were also among the prize winners.
On Sunday numerous members will attend the Road Records Association Triennial Luncheon at Aylesbury and on February 21 the club will hold its annual Club Dinner and Prize Presentation at Uxbridge Golf Club.
