BRENTFORD are set to extend the loan of Watford defender Adam Thompson by another month.

The Northern Irish international has made four starts for the Bees since his switch to Griffin Park, and told the Chronicle this week that he was keen to stay in west London.

And with first-choice right-back Shaleum Logan still sidelined, boss Uwe Rosler has opted to keep the Hornets youngster at the club for another month.

He said: “Shay is doing rehab with the physio and is not even close.

“We are extending the loan deal of Adam Thompson for another month. He's done very well for us.”
