LUKE Williams will head for Swansea City with a ringing endorsement of his talents from Hayes and Yeading boss Nas Bashir.

Bashir said there have been several enquiries from professional clubs about the 21-year-old midfielder, but Williams has not yet linked-up with Premier League City as reported in a national newspaper on Sunday.

However, Bashir confirmed that Williams will train with Swans and that could be next week after United's home match against Kidderminster on Saturday.

Williams will have a crack at impressing City boss Brendan Rodgers and Bashir believes Williams is capable of playing as high as the Championship.

"He is due to go to Swansea for a bit of experience, but he has not been there yet," said Bashir. "Brendan knows what a talent he is from when Luke was at Reading. Luke then dropped out of the system, but we have got him back enjoying his football.

"We had three or four enquiries from other clubs. He will play at a higher level, definitely professionally, and he could get up to Championship level."
