TEENAGE debutant Jeremy Lochead came off the bench to blast two quick goals for Pitshanger Dynamo in a pre-season friendly against AFC Wembley on Saturday.

And the 17-year-old almost crowned an impressive individual performance with a hat-trick – hammering a 25-yarder against the crossbar as the Oranges stormed to a 6-1 victory.

Another debutant, Leo Holmes, was outstanding on the left, and he added a brace in the final 15 minutes while captain David Jones completed the scoring in stoppage time.

Player of the year Greg Miley opened the scoring for Pits in the first half before Anthony Flanore equalised just before half-time.

Manager Alex Clark has injected plenty of youth into his line-up as the Pits focus on promotion to Middlesex County League Premier Division.

Liam Thomas was another youngster who performed brilliantly in the heart of midfield along with man of the match Drillon Velieu in central defence.

Pitshanger are still looking for new recruits and anyone interested can call Clark on 07921 188 280. Pre-season training takes place every Tuesday and Thursday at Argyle Road sports club, from 7pm to 8.30pm.
