Ealing continued to show good form at the second weekend of the Middlesex Age Group Championships in a programme consisting of 100m, 200m and 400m events.

The swimmers between them won a grand total of 15 gold, 24 silver and 15 bronze medals and the breaststroke races were fertile ground for success.

Chris Jones (pictured, left) was a double winner in the discipline - coming home first in both the over 17s' 100m and 200m breaststroke.

Tariq Miller and Joao Matias came second and third in the 100m and Miller second in the 200m and second in the 200m freestyle.

Gina Heyn mirrored Jones' success for the girls with Emma Kirby second in both events and Heyn also came second in the 200m freestyle.

Melako Coker won the 100m breaststroke in his age group and came second in the 200m race. He also picked up bronze medals in the 100m butterfly and 200m freestyle.

In the 10-years age band, Ellie Love won the 200m breaststroke with Sian McDonnell second. Other gold medals were won by

Eamon Haroun (400m freestyle) with Rohan Singh second, and the 200m medley. Haroun also won a bronze in the 100m backstroke while Singh was third in the 200m backstroke.

Polly Kemp-King took gold in the 200m freestyle as did both Lauren and Jenna Turner in the 15-years age band and the open category respectively.

Kemp-King also won the 16-years 200m butterfly while Joao Matias won the men's open 100m butterfly with Conor Barrett second and Daniel Crawford third.

In the younger groups, Maisie Jameson won the 200m backstroke

and was second in the 400m freestyle and third in the 200m medley. Aaron Pullen also won the 400m freestyle in his age band.

Ade Coker took home a rich haul of silver medals - for the100m and 200m breaststroke, 100m and 200m backstroke and 200m medley, while Tom Brommage won silver in the 100m and 200m breaststroke, plus bronzes in the 200m medley and 400m freestyle.

Omar Haroun came second in the 200m medley and 200m breaststroke, as did Cristian Rotundo in the 200m backstroke, Alex Bandarian in the 200m medley and Ed Howard in the 200m freestyle. Rotundo was also third in the 100m backstroke.

Other bronze medals were won by Katie Simms (100m and 200m butterfly and 100m breaststroke), Laura McDonnell (100m breaststroke) and Georgia Watt (200m breaststroke).

Other swimmers who were finalists or ranked in the top eight of other events were Amirah Miller, Lucy Thornton, Naima Camara, Hannah Cierebiej-Jeffery, Louise Howard, Sebastien Bordonnat, Charlotte Fairclough, Ramzey Haroun and Ed Howard.

Next weekend sees the final part of this year's championships.
